Alternating ways Of Producing Energy

We currently relying on the expensive method to produce energy oil to run over power plant in this difficult time when our country facing energy crises we should adopt the alternative ways of producing energy like nuclear, hydro, wind, solar, heat, gravitational and bio mass. Because of the oil problems in all over the world Dr. Tariq Banuri, who founded the sustainable development policy institute (SDPU) in Islamabad, Before working in UN headquarter in New York, has been increasing the need “energy revolution in economic development” in Pakistan for now. In future the non renewable resources become costly and unpredictable even cost increased in poor Pakistan
These are many ways of producing energy in Pakistan and as well as other country but Pakistan not take much interest of these alternating resources. if they concentrate seriously they  capable to stop the energy crises

 Nuclear energy :-
Although nuclear energy is the costly process of producing energy but it is very reliable resources. when the last visit of Chinese prime minister Li keqiang after the green signal of nawaz sharief that his country took nterest in sharing civil nyuclear energy to overcome the energy crises in Pakistan. As such this way is very expensive but it solve our problem but our expert don’t see the role of nuclear energy on massive scale in a future particularly what happened in fukushima in Japan recently Pakistan facing a massive energy emergency but we can’t still think in this perspective.

 Solar energy:-

The cost of solar energy is very highly but it is reliable process in Pakistan because of the hot weather of Pakistan. But the cost of the solar panel is decreased 80 % in last 5 years. The government took interest in producing emery from solar panel in past Pakistan’s perception that they not produce much energy from solar but in 2008 we importing less than a quarter of a megawatt in solar energy and this year’s imports are close to 2 megawatt. And this achieved without any government subsidies reported by Alauddin.  In Pakistan when electricity gone people us UPS to overcome hotness of weather but it takes 2 to 4 hours to charge UPS betteries past 2 years here people use solar panels in their house to charge battery it gives very help. Sales this year are three times as much as last year and there are as many as 146 vendors in the country .Alauddin says, “We endorsed certified panels (certified by Germany) which are close to one dollar per watt as opposed to those half the price.”According to him, with Chinese help, 1000 megawatts of solar energy will soon be added to the national grid. This will come mostly from the Cholistan Desert, where solar powered IPP’s are ready to sell power if they get the right rate from NEPRA (National Electric Power Regulatory Authority). “The solar on-grid megawatts projects are lined up and waiting for NEPRA to give a tariff. They need to know at what price to sell electricity to the Government of Pakistan.” This solar park in Spain uses large mirrors to concentrate the sun's rays onto the top of a 100-meter tall tower. The rays heat molten salt that produces steam to drive a turbine.

    Wind power:-
B this energy resources is very cheap and reliable resources .and Pakistan has great positional in it because in the place of sindh and Baluchistan Pakistan has vast area where Pakistan take advantage for this palaces if they established the wind power stations to produce energy . unlike the other country Pakistan is bless this resources but it didn’t took advantage from it . in past Pakistan had a wind corridor between gharo  and keti bunder that alone could produce 40,00 and 50,000 megawatts of electricity . So now Pakistan is working on it and 2 plants already installed and 3 more under construction and 11 more in the pipeline

 Hydro power potential:-
In terms of hydropower potential, there is no doubt that Pakistan has enough possibilities, especially in the North. Pakistan’s total hydropower resources have been estimated at 59,796 megawatts, out of which 41,045 megawatts are so far considered exploitable potential. However its working  is only 29 %. In fact, a policy framework and package of incentives for private sector hydropower generation projects that was introduced back in 1995 has failed spectacularly. Experts like Arshad Abbasi, who works at SDPI, blame WAPDA, pointing out that: “the World Bank rightly proposed institutional reforms in WAPDA for decentralisation in order to increase efficiency in management.”The wind power and hydro power is reliable resources for Pakistan in future.

   Bio gas:
Bio gas produced using bacteria and break down of organic matter . bio gas can be used for cooking and or heating and as fuel . 1st bio gas plants was built in the Indian city of Mumbai in 1859. And Indian village name gosaba supplies about 1,200 local families with power.

  Wave power:-
Wave power tube converts’ wave power into electricity . wave motion pushes waves potential into generator which in turn pressurize oil that is used to derive a turbine. It contains energy to equivalent to almost five times the world’s annual electricity consumption. Scotland is currently trying to become the global hub for wave and ocean power. In France two-way produce about 4 % of all consumed in the Bretagne. The plant, opened in 1966, remains the biggest in the world. In most coastal areas tidal power is not yet strong enough to efficiently produce energy.

Wood energy:-
Wood is still important source of energy and also use for cooking. This is why many poor countries also suffer from deforestation.

Bio fuel:-

In Kuala lumpur, Malaysia, palm oil is used to convert to fuel but many rainforests have been cleared to make way for palm oil plantation . The US is far the world’s largest producer of ethanol, a bio fuel made from corn. Brazil is 2nd with bio fuels made from sugar cane, currently the most efficient way to produce bio fuel. Algae could soon become better source of bio fuels.

   Pedal power:-
Pedal power is a unique way to produce energy by connecting  a stationary bike to a generator  these machines can power many home appliances like washing machine ,cell phones and light bulb.

   Gravitational force:-

In UK companies give techniques in which they use a device on the street which consume gravitational forces of vehicles then convert into electricity

 Heat energy :-

A technique used by a country Denmark which is produce electricity by absorbing the heat energy which is produce via cooking
